Privacy notice
Still State Labs is operated by a UK sole trader. This notice explains the limited information collected by the website, early-access list and seven-night check-in.
Information we collect
If you join the early-access list, we collect your email address, when and where you joined, and the version of the signup notice shown. If you use the seven-night check-in, we collect the ratings and optional note you submit together with a randomly generated participant identifier. The identifier is stored on your device and is not designed to reveal your identity.
Optional website analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand page visits and actions such as starting the audio preview, choosing a listening platform and successfully joining the early-access list. We do not send your email address, check-in note or ratings to Analytics. Google may process device, browser, approximate location and usage information to provide these reports. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled.
How we use it
We use early-access details to send requested listening invitations, protocol updates and founding offers. Check-in information helps us understand whether a protocol is useful enough to return to and whether listeners report technical or playback problems. We process early-access details because you requested these updates, and process product feedback for our legitimate interest in improving and securing the service.
Health information
The check-in is a product-feedback tool, not a medical record. Please do not include diagnoses, medication details or other sensitive health information in the optional note.
Storage and sharing
Information is stored using our website hosting and database provider. If you allow analytics, Google processes the website usage information described above on our behalf. We do not sell personal information and this version of the site does not use advertising trackers. We may use essential technical logs to keep the service secure and reliable.
Analytics choices
Analytics is off until you allow it. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time using “Analytics choices” in the website footer. Declining analytics does not affect access to any protocol, guide or check-in tool.
Your device
A copy of each check-in and the random participant identifier may be stored in your browser. You can remove this local information by clearing site data in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep an early-access address until you unsubscribe or the early-access programme closes. Check-in records are reviewed within 12 months and then deleted or converted into information that no longer identifies a participant. Essential security logs may be kept for shorter operational periods.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from early-access emails at any time. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with your email address, or object to its use, by contacting support@stillstatelabs.com.
Who this is for
Still State Labs is intended for adults. It is a wellness product and does not diagnose or treat insomnia, sleep apnoea or another health condition.
